Vev Standard Hosting serves your content via our hosting platform. No advanced setup required or any requirements, you just need to map your domain/subdomain.
To set up a new standard hosting, go to the Hosting tab on your dashboard.
Below you'll see how we create a new Standard Hosting instance to publish articles to content.vev.design. Once you've created a new Hosting, you'll need to add the provided CNAME or A-Record pointer to your DNS configuration. (If you don't know what a CNAME/A-Record pointer is, that's ok. Ask your tech person/domain owner, or read this article to learn how to do it yourself.)
If the domain you entered was yourdomain.com, you will receive a CNAME and an A-Record. You must add both to your DNS Configuration.
If you entered www.yourdomain.com, you will only receive a CNAME which you must add to your DNS configuration, and your content will only be avaiable on www.yourdomain.com, not on yourdomain.com as a naked domain.
When the correct information has been entered into your domain, you'll see the status change for the respective pointer in your Hosting tab.
Vev standard hosting is hosted through Netlify's CDN hosting, which gives you a new type of application delivery network custom-designed for blazing-fast sites.

Amount of Projects
On the team package you have one Vev Standard Hosting included. This means that you can set up one domain you can publish projects to. If you set up www.yourdomain.com one page in a project will be your Home Page. If you publish more pages or projects to the same hosting, they will get the URL www.yourdomain.com/suffix.
To add more domains, you'll have to add an additional Hosting Package.
